Eye/Hair Color: Dark brown almost black eyes that on the surface are the same as her sister except for a less intense and angry glare in her gaze. She has brown hair that she always aims to keep out of her eyes and is always nearly styled. Style of Dress: After she had married Ted she lived in the Muggle Suburbs and for the first time in her life found herself wearing muggle clothes. It took her while to get used to it and she needed the support of his family to manage. It was always tasteful, not too revealing and rotated between pants or skirts. When she worked in the wizarding world she then always wore roves and in the current environment it is the only thing she wears least she be considered a blood traitor again and be stripped of guardianship of eddy. She does not resort to a simple colour pattern, but her clothes are always tasteful and while not always of the latest fashion are seemingly average for a woman of her age. Non-Magical Weaknesses: Over analyses issues too much often leading her to act too late, secretive, hides her emotions and can appear very cold, arrogant over her beliefs, occasionally rather manipulative if she is determined to get something. Magical Strengths: Andromeda was always rather studious and so did well on most of her subjects because she worked for her marks. Her strengths were charms, transfiguration and of course healing since she has practiced it for so long. Magical Weaknesses: Flying she can barely get from A to B in a very shaky flight. Bad Habits: She tends to pick at the her nails when she becomes irritated and shut up shop with her emotions becoming completely blank and being alarmingly cold. Vices: She hides her emotions from others which has only increased in her current situation. I don't think so. History Where were they born? London What was their family's economic status? The Black’s were an ancient pureblood family with a significant amount of wealth which Andromeda was raised around. However, she left all that when she married Ted and was disowned. Instead she is middle class though slightly upper as a healer is a rather well paying job. Where did they grow up? Andromeda was raised in a manor home in London near her cousin’s home in Grindelwald Place. In her youth she was a dutiful young lady. She obeyed her parent’s rule and helped her sisters when they needed anything. They were close until each of them attended Hogwarts and began to separate. Andromeda’s separation was increased by what she could see as the outright violence caused by the Death Eaters that her family supported and how there was little sense in so called pureblood superiority. Where is their family now? Andromeda does not associate with any of the Blacks since she left and was disowned. However, she does know what happened to them: Her parents died, Narcissa continued life as a pureblood wife and Bellatrix is a Death Eater seemingly without a conscience (from Andromeda’s view point). Why were they sorted into their house? Slytherin. In her youth it was expected of her so she was motivated to go to that house. Also she does mesh well with the houses ideals: She is ambitious and cunning, though not quite as power hungry as other house members. Do they have children? Tell us about them. She has one daughter Nymphadora. She was an active child who went so far as to join the Aurors to the shock of her mother. Andromeda worries about her constantly especially since she is on the run from the Ministry. What has happened in their life between the Battle of Hogwarts and now? Andromeda did not attend the battle and when her daughter left she was given Teddy (Dora’s son) to look after while she was gone. After, she received word of the Death Eater’s success and was devastated. They arrived at her house and questioned her thoroughly (with more than a few crucios) about her involvement especially as her daughter and son in law were wanted criminals. She thought that her grandson would have been taken off her, but vowing to be compliant and being heavily watched she retained custody. She continued her work as a healer and moved to Westminster. Her daughter is still on the run and Andromeda was wise enough to not question exactly where she is. Occasionally Dora is able to visit her in disguise and Andromeda savours every moment of being with her daughter. Any other significant events in their life? At the age of 19 she left her family to marry Ted after planning the moment for months. She was subsequently disowned and after receiving no replies to any of her letters to her family she gave up trying. In 1973 she gave birth to her first and only daughter Nymphadora. In 1998 she received word her husband had been murdered. It was devastating for Andromeda especially as she had avoided any involvement in either of the wars as there had always been a high chance it would result in added danger to her family.
